Natya- Stem Dance Kampani Performs for Natyanjali

Kathak is always been a dance form i like to learn. each and every performance i watch its attracting me like a magnet.

Natyanjali celebrated its 25th anniversary nirthyaarpanam on the 20th feb in ADA rangamandira.
Natya was a part of the celebration.I saw the troupe from the stage rehearsal to the show.

the respect, the culture they maintain is just so different. their stage rehearsals were equal to the show. Each and every step had the expressions, smlie, grace and energy.

For me always stage rehearsals have just another dry run thru types. This showed me how different institutions work. It also teaches how different teachers and choreographers work.

When my sir spoke about Maya Deedhi i just thought that he just exaggerates. But when i myself actually experienced i realized how strict, disciplined and particular she is.

I was so impressed seeing their rehearsals that i just could not wait to see their performance. Thoughts ran in my mind "When they rehearse so well how should be their show?"


When they were on stage performing i just could not believe my eye. They were extremely good. It was more than a treat to my eye. They just pulled me into their dance and i was floating in the flow of the music tapping my feet to the beats and had a smile on my face without knowledge.

The boys in the troupe also had so much grace and were so excellent. I can say the boys stole the show and were so good, their smile never faded away.

Impressed! Natya stem is making me and dragging me to the world of Kathak. After i watched the show i really want to be a part of stem and learn Kathak.
